Jackson County Children's Advocacy Center utilizes a variety of specialized trainers to assist with facilitating our trainings. We try to incorporate and explore new methods of interviewing along with "best practice" or widely recognized techniques. Our OGT training combines forensic child interviewing, suspect interrogation along with up-to-date high-tech support.

Updates are currently discussed during ongoing (weekly) peer review's with attention on special needs, as well as, other guideline updates; incorporating Karly's law, photo documentation, DEC, DV, neglect and most currently, runaway issues.

Our unique approach is also available for those seeking case consultation and direction.

Josh Moulin and Brandon Bloomfield are two of the most sought after High-Tech Crimes detectives in the state. Their vast training in the field of computer/digital evidence retrieval have made them invaluable to LEA throughout Oregon.

Stephanie Smith - Medford Police Dept. Detective
Detective Stephanie Smith has been a member of The Medford Police Department for 14 years.
Det. Smith has spent the past six years investigating cases regarding child maltreatment. With hundreds of child interviews to her credit, her experience in dealing with investigation dilemmas will give practical insight to help solve tough cases.

Please note: A variety of LEA officers are utilized throughout the year to assist with trainings. Other seasoned departments such as Oregon State Police and Jackson County Sheriff's participate when available. All trainings are a service of the Jackson County Children's Advocacy Center.
